| Having lived in the Far East for many years, our client
asked for a taste of the Orient in his Connecticut landscape; so with this
in mind we changed his wooded lot and installed a Japanese garden. Included
in this garden are hand carved granite lanterns, fountains, as well as a
bamboo deer chaser fountain. We created a custom bamboo arbor and fencing to
define this outdoor sanctuary and enclose the new Japanese Tea house. To
complete the picture we harvested and installed moss from the surrounding
area and ferns blanket the earth around a granite bridge. A stepping-stone
path leads one through the gravel seas to begin the tranquil journey through
the Tea garden.
