One of Connecticut’s original Witch Hazel
factories that has become a comfortable family home with many historic details
preserved, including the old Ash house. We designed and installed every aspect
of this property, which includes a kitchen herb garden, evergreen woodland edge
plantings, and an old farm wall, which backs a typical English perennial border
of “organized chaos”.
The homeowner particularly enjoys this new sitting area with the gentle flow of
water from the new Haddonstone fountain and the fragrance of the Lavender around
its base. The addition of a water feature lends harmony to any landscape in any
season.
