The owner of this home wanted an area to sit by the pool that she could enjoy and feel surrounded by flowing gardens and water. We removed the existing evergreen hedge from the back of the pool and began by building a new patio with a combination of random fractured bluestone and sandstone. We then covered the existing concrete pool deck in the same stone as the patio and added a new poolside pergola with climbing white wisteria. Ascending the slope is a new custom stone staircase that leads to a cedar bridge that spans the new waterfall we created to flow into the swimming pool. Custom cedar pool filter covers were fitted into the new stone deck.
